CAR VS. TREE ON BENNETTS LANE November 23rd - At 06:48 District 3 was alerted for an MVA with entrapment on Bennetts Lane. Rescue 25, and Engine 251 arrived to find a car into a tree with the driver trapped. Engine 251's crew stabilized the vehicle, and using the tools off of Rescue 25, removed the roof and drivers side door. The patient was transport to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. CFVC Assistant Chief Toth (Car 25B) had command. Units remained on scene for approximately 40 minutes. SCAFFOLDING FIRE AT HARRISON TOWERS November 07 - At 20:15, Stations 25 and 27 were alerted to a reported scaffolding fire at Harrison Towers. Engine 251 arrived to find a part of the scaffolding on fire. 1 line was stretched while it was confirmed that the power to the unit had been shut off. Ladder 25 arrived and was assigned the task of checking for extension and ventilation. Units remained on scene for approximately 1 hour. ENTRAPMENT ON ROUTE 27 November 04 - At 12:34 District 3 was alerted for an MVA with entrapment at the intersection of Route 27 and South Dover Ave. Rescue 25 arrived to find the driver still trapped which required a door removal. CFVC Assistant Chief Toth (Car 25B) had arrived and assumed command. Rescue 25's crew extricated the driver from the car by removing the door using both the O-ring cutters and the spreaders. Units remained one scene for approximately 30 minutes. MVC CAR VS. WALL ROLLOVER WITH ENTRAPMENT November 02 - At 12:19 District 3 was alerted for reported rollover with entrapment at the intersection of Beverly Ave and Easton Ave. Rescue 25 arrived to find a car that had lost control and was leaning up against a brick wall. Rescue 25 stabilized the vehicle and assisted EMS in removing the driver. Units remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes. |
