would like to extend a warm welcome back to our brother firefighter, Tommy
Cicerale, after a hiatus from Station 25. Tommy brings back over 9 years
of experience to our fire company with also previous experience as Assistant

don't have to worry about being under the bus!
Swede Flashover simulator training
June 17th - Members of Station 25
took part in the Swede flashover simulator training at the Somerset County Fire
Academy on this nice sunny Saturday. Station 25 firefighters were
refreshed while in the classroom, on how a flashover occurs and what signs to
look out for when a flashover may occur. Then it was off to the Swede
chamber where each firefighter had a chance to see right before their eyes how a
flashover occurs.
Taxpayer Training at MCFA
June 11th - Taking
advantage of the relative calmness that has befallen Franklin Fire
District #3, the firefighters at CVFC took Engine 253 and Ladder 25 to
the Middlesex County Fire Academy to train in their taxpayer building.
Under the direction of Engine Captain Middleton, the crews focused on
fire attack evolutions and search & rescue. The instructors at MCFA also put on a demonstration of fire behavior for the benefit of our
newer members. Many lessons were learned by the crews, ones
that will be surely used in the field.
