RESCUE/EXTRICATION DRILL

Oct 22nd - This morning we held a extrication class at Somerset Recycling Center, utilizing tools off of Rescue 25.  We primarily focused on stabilizing vehicles using different techniques when a vehicle is upright, on it's side or even over-turned by using airbags, air shores and many other tools that we carry on Rescue 25.  We also worked on performing dash rolls and taking apart a roof when and if needed.  After successfully completing several evolutions, some of our new probationary firefighter have been certified to work on rescue/extrication calls that we get in the district.
